Brand Books,

Research & Strategy

Blending trends, research and brand reality, I deliver unique consumer, creative, or investor insights.

Prior to branding, I worked as a professional journalist, writing features for Rolling Stone, Wired, Grand Royale and Newsweek.

Trained to find stories, I craft narratives that engage investors, inspire teams, and launch creative concepts.

For cleantech innovators Sense and Gogoro, I immersed myself in the complex data of global energy use, population projections, and consumer habits. Articulating findings within clear, concise stories, I then created brand concepts and creative from the findings.

Another example is my work as lead writer on the script for a stunning Gogoro investor video, shot in the streets of Taipei by Cinco Design.

When Adidas reissued their famous Predator football boot, I wrote the copy for a collector’s edition book. Diving deep into Adidas and David Beckham history, learning about Predator performance advantages, I created an engaging narrative for player, product, and brand.

On a strategy/research project for Nike Tennis, I served up emerging trends within the sport. Finding conversations within social media, matching that with published white papers, traditional publications and various resources, I presented several driving issues shaping the future of this heritage-rich “sport of kings”.

While living in Asia, I wrote features for Newsweek. From business articles exploring trends in flash travel, to first hand coverage of a coup d’etat, I dove deep into the landscape and discovered stories that entertained millions of readers.
